CAFÉ 150

Café 150 is a donation only café serving neighbors in need each Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Over 3,500 meals are served each year to those in the area who are unemployed, underemployed, single parents, homeless or grandparents raising grandchildren. Café 150 also provides assistance with hygiene, clothing, healthcare and technology. Guests are encouraged to give as they receive by donating their time or monetary contributions.

OUR GOALS

The toll of hunger is immeasurable; however, addressing physical hunger is simply the first step. We work closely with other nonprofits and supportive services to address other issues that affect an individual’s or family’s ability to function at their best. Our compassionate volunteers at Café 150 offer additional services to those who fellowship with us over a meal. Our team members recognize our guests as individuals and show them dignity and grace as they address their identified needs.

We utilize our available and ready to use space with like-minded partners through ForMidtown’s initiative called IgniteMobile. The 128 Project, our first other nonprofit resident, operates a community grocery market in their space every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month in conjunction with Café 150. Families or individuals can conveniently select at no cost to them needed groceries, beverages, and more at this market.  We expect to expand our available space to other nonprofits in 2024.
